The runners are participating in the Ragnar Relay Race, which began on Friday and is scheduled to run through today (Saturday, 15 October 2016).

The 200-mile relay race began at the Hilo Bayfront Highway and will end at the Hapuna Prince Hotel.

Police are reminding motorists to be aware of both runners and their support vehicles on roads and highways between Hilo and Waikoloa.
