Help prevent substance abuse.
ACCESS Capabilities Pahoa will conduct a sign waving campaign on Saturday, 19 August 2017, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Maku’u Farmers Market. The event will raise public awareness about the effects of alcohol, drug dependency, and related diseases on our communities. The family-oriented event will include free food, resources booths, and activities for children.
Ka’u High Alumni Potluck.
The All Ka’u High School Alumni and Friends will present the 16th annual potluck reunion on Sunday, 20 August 2017, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Pahala Community Center. Bring a favorite dish to share and enjoy a day of fun, food, and live music. For details, contact James Yamaki at 969-6828.
